Breakfast in New Orleans: Toast


We've eaten at both the Uptown and Downtown locations of Toast and enjoyed them both. More about Toast below:

Toast was opened in 2014 by Cara and Evan Benson. They also own Tartine ( on Perrier Street. They met at The French Culinary Institute and live in Algiers Point with their two sons. Toast is a neighborhood bakery where you can sit at the breakfast bar while sipping a cafe au lait and enjoying an omelette or you can grab a coffee and cinnamon roll on your way to work. All breads, jams, custards, and curds are made in house daily.
