Breakfast in New Orleans: Toast
We've eaten at both the Uptown and Downtown locations of Toast and enjoyed them both. More about Toast below:
Toast was opened in 2014 by Cara and Evan Benson. They also own Tartine (www.tartineneworleans.com) on Perrier Street. They met at The French Culinary Institute and live in Algiers Point with their two sons. Toast is a neighborhood bakery where you can sit at the breakfast bar while sipping a cafe au lait and enjoying an omelette or you can grab a coffee and cinnamon roll on your way to work. All breads, jams, custards, and curds are made in house daily.
