Most people know all about Cafe du Monde in the French Quarter, because it's an institution (since 1862) and a New Orleans tradition. But Morning Call has a long history (since 1870) in the city too. We like Morning Call (City Park location) because it's quieter, and has a more of a neighborhood feel. There's live music there on occasion and there's more on the menu than just beignets if you want something savory. It's also cash only but there's an ATM on site so no worries.
