What's Your Go-to Travel Shoe?

We all have a few sneakers we love to wear when traveling.

What's Your Go-to Travel Shoe?

Last month I was packing for a quick trip to London and I was having a difficult time deciding which shoes to bring. The thing is the trip wasn't long enough to bring multiple shoes. I could have but more than one pair was unnecessary.

However, this is coming from a guy who has way more sneakers than he needs, so let's not even talk about unnecessary. I'm sure everyone gets the point I was trying to make though.

Anyhow, after overthinking I decided to just pack my 2016 Bred Jordan 1s. I didn't go with that option because it's the most comfortable sneaker I own. I went with Bred 1s because it's a sneaker you can literally wear with every fit.

I usually make sure I travel in Ultra Boost or EQT Support 93/17. Those are my usual cozy travel kicks, but this trip to London was different because I had a few fits that I NEEDED to get off. lol

As I type this discussion post, I'm in the Geneva airport getting ready to head to Paris. Guess what's on my feet? The OG Ultra Boost because that's the type of comfort I prefer when traveling.

Unlike the states, security in Europe from my experience doesn't require you to remove your sneakers and that's always played a role in my decision making when traveling. Luckily I don't have to worry about that here.

That's a little insight on my thought process from traveling shoes. Now it's your turn.

What's your go-to travel shoe(s)? Let's discuss in the comments.

I just bought some inikis last week and im pretty sure thats gonna be my new travel shoe. I was gonna get em last month for a couple trips I had but i was waiting for the price to drop. And when it finally did drop and GRoc blessed us with the promo code info I was all over it! Now theyre the same price as I paid even w/o the promo code.

I usually prefer to travel in some Vans Authentics, and will usually pack other shoes based on the outfits I packed.

Yep and you're so right about an all white shoe.

Any Jordan 1 or air max 1 or a all white shoe is perfect for travel

I try to keep at least a pair of retro 1’s in a classic color if anything, they make for great shoes to build on when packing for a trip. I also like to have some comfort so I’ll bring a pair of retro Air Max Incase I need to do some walking to light running

The most difficult trip for a head is these short ones or ones where some detail complicates what could be a normal exercise (after hours of decision making lol). I wear UB's, NMD's or one of my older shoes in the 7-12 yr range that can easily slip on and off due to being looser from wear and age.

Once I'm where I need to be I've usually traveled with a pair of Greats Pronto, Y-3 or some other designers shoes that can pull double duty in a casual suit or blazer and then head out with friends or a client to some event. I finally paid more attention to the 1, got a few pairs now and it's easily understandable why you'd choose those and so many people have them.

They look great with almost anything.

Usually some UB or something comfortable like Prestos. I rarely bring or wear heat when traveling.
