I know I sound like a broken record at this point, but don't sleep on Nike outlets. Ever! Most people do their shopping online nowadays and driving to an outlet with no promise of finding "heat" or a good deal isn't a great motivator for people who didn't grow up in the sneaker hunting days.
Everyone who knows me or reads this blog knows I get busy in these streets. However, I can't take credit for this extremely rare Nike Factory outlet store find. I wish I could though.
Someone in California (I assume) struck gold at their local Nike outlet. The rare find is the highly coveted Tom Sachs Mars Yard 2.0. Overrated? Sure, but who am I to judge a person who's willing to drop multiple racks on a pair? Nah, I can't be mad or judge someone for how they spend their hard earned money.
According to RIF.LA, the seller found this pair for $99, and then used an employee discount (30% off). You can't tell a guy like me this type of info because I hit the outlet in Switzerland and the states because I had to try my luck.
As you probably have guessed by now, Young Yolan did not find a pair, but a new Nike Outlet Alert is dropping this week. Congrats to the person who grabbed this pair - you got the juice!
Have you found anything rare or surprising from the outlet lately?
