First off, I would like to start off by saying I'm super proud of Atlanta and happy for my city. We have come a long way!
Years ago Atlanta would've been overlooked for a huge exhibit like Virgil Abloh's "Figures of Speech" but the city is a new space.
High Museum members got a chance to view the exhibit first, November 8-10. As of today, November 12, the exhibit is open to the public until March 8, 2020.
I got a chance to view the space on Friday, but I was busy posting content on IG that I forgot to record a video for the TSG readers.
That said, I went back Sunday to document the space so everyone who can't attend gets a chance to have an inside look. No one is left out!
As for my Atlanta, southeast, and frequent travelers, I highly recommend you visit the High to see everything in person.
In case you're wondering, yes, there is an exclusive merch shop (seen in the video) filled with commemorative items.
Watch the video above for a tour of the space. Let me know in the comments if you have any questions or concerns.
